This is one of my personal favorite crochet scarf patterns. It is fun to make because the stitch is interesting. The best part, though, is the finished product. It is an elegant scarf, and despite the open work, it is quite warm. You can choose to add a fringe to the bottom if you like. I chose not to for this one… and for the purple one that I made for myself. I felt that it stood alone well on its own, but it isn’t a scarf for some people if there is no fringe. Suppose you are one of those who can’t do without it, then, by all means, fringe away!
Like most scarves, this makes a beautiful gift. I would love to see this worked up in a nice ombre yarn.If you make one, please share a pic on my Facebook Page.
