This crochet giraffe applique pattern is the same one that I used for my crochet Giraffe Stethoscope Cozy.
It is a fun little applique pattern that can be used for a variety of projects. You can make the pattern smaller, simply by going down a couple of hook sizes. You can keep the F hook the same, but an I hook would be perfect to replace the K hook.

Crochet Giraffe Applique
Supplies:
Sizes K and F crochet hooks
Worsted weight yarn (I used 100% cotton) Yellow, Ecru, & Brown
Pattern:
Using your K hook, and beginning with Ecru, ch 2.
Round 1: Sc 6 in 2nd ch from hook, join with sl st to 1st sc. (6)
Round 2: Ch 1, beginning in same st as join, 2 sc in each st around. Join with sl st to 1st sc. (12)
Round 3: Ch 1, beginning in same st as join, [1 sc, sc 2 in the next st] repeat around. Join with sl st to 1st sc. (18)
Drop ecru and switch to yellow.
Shape Head
Row 4: Ch 1, beginning in same st as join, [2 sc, sc 2 in the next st] twice, sl st in the next sc. Turn. (8)
Row 5: Ch 1, sl st in first sc, sc 6, sl st in next sc. Turn. (6)
Row 6: Ch 1, sc 3, sc 2 in the next st, sc 3. Turn. (8)
Row 7: Ch 1, sc 8. Turn. (8)
Row 8: Ch 1, sc 8, DO NOT TURN.
Round 9: Ch 1, sc 4 evenly down the side of the yellow, sl st into the back loop of the next st in round, sl st 11, sc 4 evenly up the the side of yellow to the top, ch 1, sl st into beg ch 1 space. Turn
Switch to F hook
Make Ears: Ch 4, sl st into same ch 1 space, forming a ring. Turn, sc 7 in ring. Finish off. Make the other ear the same way, joining to the ch 1 space on the other side.
Make Antlers: Join brown to the 2nd st from the ear, on top. Ch 3, 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sl st in next ch, sl st in same as join. Repeat for other antler.
