May the 4th, it is. A happy one, I wish you!
I wanted to work up a quick little something for Star Wars day since my family is full of Star Wars fans. While I was taking my obligatory stroll through the yarn department last weekend, I saw one little skein of “Yoda green” left, and had to buy it. OK, it isn’t really called Yoda green, but that is what first came to my mind. I have been enjoying making appliques, lately, so I immediately decided that some of that green yarn would be worked into a little crochet Yoda applique pattern.
When I showed my kids, they all got a kick out of my Yoda. My 8 year old quickly “dibbed” the Yoda applique to use as a patch for the torn knee of her blue jeans. I recently made a flower applique (which I will be sharing soon) for her sister’s torn jeans, so she was anxious to get one for her’s too.
